When should you call an eye doctor for emergency eye care?
If you’re experiencing any of the following, please contact our eye doctors immediately:
- Bleeding from or around the eye
- Bulging of the eye
- Burning, stinging, or pain
- Difference in the size of your pupils
- Discharge from the eye
- Double vision
- Injury to the eye
- Paralysis of the eye
- Severe itching
- Sudden sensitivity to light
- Sudden vision loss or blurring
When should you go to the emergency room for your eye?
There are times where going to the emergency room may be best for your visual health. We recommend contacting our office first. We will tell you if a trip to the emergency room is necessary.
